Very proud #darknoisemovie is one of the two projects featured here. Indie films can lead the way in showing the benefits of shorter working hours. We are all in this together - respecting collaborators is key to keeping this industry safe. @MainCourseFilms @BenAllanACS

In forcing the film and television industry to explore new ways of working, the pandemic may also have inadvertently exposed the superfluousness of the long days synonymous with production. IF talks to producers in two projects that took a different path, hubs.li/Q01Y0pLF0

1/5 Australia, for the most part, is a beautiful cultural melting pot where people look different, talk different, but are still Australian. But working in the film industry as a minority, you learn to become hyper aware of gender and race. @MainCourseFilms @BenAllanACS

Ethics and morals are how we make change sustainable

Film making at all levels can be a healthy and sustainable industry, it just takes a broad commitment to ongoing change.
