In light to this tweet, #discord decided "yeah let's make 64-bit default and the only option for every other version after archer caught us" and made 32-bit archived until June 15th, 2024. I had a screenshare issue for 2 friggin years and 64-bit solved that. I can't be bothered.
despite a fully functioning 64bit version existing and old windows versions being unsupported, discord STILL ships the client as 32bit by default for some reason if you change the url to "=x64", you can get the 64bit client
