Liz Truss is an over promoted clerical worker with zero self awareness and a vastly inflated perception of her usefulness as a human being. She is too mind numbingly thick to know she’s thick and an emblem of everything that is wrong with this utter binfire of a government.

Jesus Hoverboarding Christ; you were installed by 80,000 racists, got a three week pass because the Queen died and then did more damage to the economy than three years of COVID in 48 hours. And for this you get £115,000 a year FOREVER. TAKE THE WIN, SHUT YOUR FACE AND FUCK OFF.

Wow! Shell has just recorded a£32,200,000,000 profit – the highest in 115 years. A number so big, I’m guessing most people wouldn’t confidently know how to even say it. They literally make products that are destroying the planet, sell them back to us and keep the money 🤷‍♂️

The Minister for Cabinet Office needs to stop digging. Claiming Pincher “meant no harm”, that the PM “didn’t immediately recall” crucial conversations and that the PM “acted with probity” is beyond parody. The stench of decay is overwhelming - surely this can’t go on any longer

It's a good moment to remind people of the 7 Nolan principles of standards in public life (how politicians, civil servants, charity trustees etc are bound to act in public roles) 1 Selflessness. 2 Integrity. 3 Objectivity. 4 Accountability. 5 Openness. 6 Honesty. 7 Leadership

*Javid* GONE *Sunak* GONE When your most senior cabinet colleagues believe you don’t have integrity and aren’t running the country “properly, competently and seriously”, it’s time to stop #BorisMustGo

Feels like end might be nigh for Johnson - not a moment too soon. Notable tho that the resigning ministers were only prepared to go when they were lied to - they defended him lying to public. The whole rotten lot need to go. And 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 needs the permanent alternative of independence

Drunk on power, @BorisJohnson sullied, despoiled and eroded the idea of public duty the moment he stepped through the door of No.10 He must go But the length of time it took Ministers to act, means big questions about the future of @Conservatives We need a General Election

Saltairian Reposted

Just so we're clear: Sunak, Javid and all the other Tory MPs abandoning Boris Johnson aren't acting from "principle" or "honour". They've known what he's like from the beginning. They're abandoning him because they now think his leadership threatens their interests. That's it.
