Inspired by the timeless ballet Giselle, these 18x36”silkscreens feature Myrtha, the Queen of the Wilis, with a veil of spectral maiden who lure unfaithful lovers to their doom. They loom over Giselle, who clutches her heart, caught between worlds. Available at @BLCKDRGNPRSS

It saddens me how such an imaginative and creative show struggles to get a season 2, this is one of those shows that's gonna be cited as a main inspiration for movies and games 20 years from now, it's peak sci fi.

Preview of "Scavengers Reign" Season 2. Unfortunately, this new season has not yet been greenlighted. So the creators of the show & Green Street studio produced this concept trailer in-house. Full video >> catsuka.com/news/2024-11-0… cc @josephbennett00 @charleshuettner

The five day work week is not sustainable. You work eight hours a day, five days a week, and by the time the weekend gets here, you’re so exhausted but you have other things to do like chores and groceries and errands. Where’s the day to literally relax?

This is a great way to ensure the next generation of producers and executives never gets to exist. This is the work of entry level jobs. Interns, assistants, lower level execs. This is how you learn, how you develop taste. This is Hollywood sawing at its own neck to save a buck.

EXCLUSIVE: A new AI-powered platform called Wscripted+ has launched and its founders claim it will provide the industry with a fresh way to submit and review scripts. “This is ethical AI and will boost female & underrepresented writers” said the founder deadline.com/2024/10/artifi…

Everytime I see this phrase I think the proper response to it is "if you embrace AI too much you will get left behind. outsourcing your ability eats into your growth & experience gained for your most valuable skillsets - understanding how to create & developing an artistic eye.

“He came to the conclusion that OpenAI’s use of copyrighted data violated the law & that technologies like ChatGPT were damaging the internet…He left OpenAI because he no longer wanted to contribute to technologies that he believed would bring society more harm than benefit.” 🙏🏽

Huge respect to ex-Open AI researcher @suchirbalaji for voicing his opinion on this, and for his thoughtful analysis of the issues around generative AI training. To quote the conclusion of his essay: "None of the four factors seem to weigh in favor of ChatGPT being a fair use of…

Can everyone make it as a professional artist? Of course not, there are a million factors at play, many of them out of our hands. Can anyone learn to draw and paint effectively by just putting in practice like you would with literally anything else? Absolutely.

If there is one thing that I would like to see change after all this AI nonsense, it would to stop hearing pro's speaking in the name of every artist that "It's just hard work" and "Everyone can do it". Not every one can do it. If they could AI wouldn't be so popular.

it’s crazy to me that in just two years we’ve effectively destroyed the internet for the sake of a product whose only discernible use is helping students cheat on their homework.

Some very big names have signed, if you're an artist or creative, you should too. Big thanks to @ednewtonrex for doing this, few people are working as hard as he is to advocate for artists and push for accountability and ethics in AI.

Today we’re publishing a statement on AI training, signed by 10,000+ creators already: “The unlicensed use of creative works for training generative AI is a major, unjust threat to the livelihoods of the people behind those works, and must not be permitted.” Signatories include…
