UTRGV head coach Kahil Fennell has one of the wildest origin stories in the business... from medical device salesman in the Bay Area to volunteer D2 assistant to Division 1 head coach in the span of 10 years. A rising star whose team gave Wisconsin all it could handle tonight.
One of the underrated benefits of having a good football team is how much more fun it is to watch the night games after your squad already locked in a big win.
One thing I noticed missing in the Cignetti shirt/towel designs: The original Phillip Morris tobacco packaging (which the design mimics) used to carry the Caesar quote “Veni, vidi, vici”. Meaning: “I came, I saw, I conquered”. Seems fitting.

What makes Myles Rice performance (20pts/4-0 A/T) noteworthy is that he was defended by Zakai Zeigler, the reigning SEC Defensive POY. Zeigler is one of the top-3 defensive guards in the country, next to Ace Baldwin (PSU) and Tamin Lipsey (Iowa St).
Hard to express how pivotal Justice Ellison’s running was in helping IU wear down the Huskies. In the 2nd half alone, he had 10 rushes that resulted in either 1st downs or TDs. Washintron could only muster four 2nd half possession due to Ellison‘s time consuming running.
Reminder: D'Angelo Ponds is on NFL watch lists for a reason.
