During the UPR of Ethiopia, Malaysia recommended the following: ▫️ improve the quality of education and ensure access to education for children with disabilities ▫️prioritize access to adequate housing, clean water & sanitation services for marginalized populations

During the UPR of Equatorial Guinea, Malaysia recommended the following: ▫️improve gender equality in employment & prevent violence against women ▫️enhance access to quality healthcare services ▫️strengthen training programme for health personnel & social workforce

During the UPR of Costa Rica, Malaysia recommended the following: ▫️strengthen public security through capacity building programmes ▫️address school dropout rates in rural areas ▫️align its national development strategies with the right to development

During the UPR of Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia recommended the following: ▫️develop & implement targeted strategies to expand the rights of elderly ▫️promote development towards advancing gender equality & women empowerment

During the UPR of DPRK, Malaysia provided the following recommendations: ▫️address the growing disparities between Pyongyang & other parts of the country towards attaining ESCR ▫️enhancement access to free & quality education, & address malnutrition

During the UPR of Dominica, Malaysia provided the following recommendations: ▫️strengthen its public health system in supporting families & vulnerable individuals ▫️address the impacts of climate change & integrate the needs of women, children, older persons & PWDs

During the UPR of Bhutan, Malaysia recommended the following: ▫️continue promoting economic & social development ▫️enhance its anti-corruption efforts and programmes Malaysia is a member of troika for Bhutan’s UPR.

During the UPR of Portugal, Malaysia recommended the following: ▫️increase employment opportunities for women & PWDs ▫️tackle discrimination, Islamophobia & other related intolerance ▫️increase the annual quota for resettlement programme with UNHCR & include Rohingya refugees
