Listen, tomorrow morning you won’t see a post from me. I’m not going anywhere , I’m not hiding under a rock . Social media is both toxic and triggering . I’m going to try to finish my memoir I started 20 years ago. I think I’ll title it “Fourteen” or “Under the Almond Tree” ❤️🙏🏾

According to exit polls 91% of Black Women including me voted for VP Harris. As a wife, mother of 3 sons and 2 grandsons, I hope the Democratic Party listens and not take Black folks for granted esp Black men. Right now I just need to step away to rest, reflect, and to write🙏🏾

I’m going to step back from social media for a bit just because I need to, if you need me you have my digits…I’ll be here for a minute just so folks know that I wasn’t just deported back to Jamaica …

Just finished printing all my Progress Reports for my families .I told you Special Education Teachers do a lot, yes a lot. We do a lot at home in order to work with our kids at school. The truth is unless I did this I’d be at my desk at work instead of in the class with my kids🦋

Dear Teachers, This week was a lot for many of us. To say thank you for showing up for our kids and each other ,I’m giving away 5 copies of my book to the first 5 teachers who like, follow and share this post! #traumainformed #empathy #ISeeYou @PTU958

I got up this morning thinking of mom I wondered what she would say to me when I became worried and anxious. See, my heart has been quite worried these past few days My brain has accepted the results of the election yet my heart says no I can hear mom say “keep going Mar” I will.
