🗓️ ThisDateInOHSAAHistory: June 3, 1978 - Akron Springfield (Class AAA), Warren Champion (AA) and Casstown Miami East (A) were crowned state champions at the inaugural #OHSAA softball state tournament at Brookside Park in Ashland.
Thank you to an incredible group of seniors. They leave our program with the most wins and highest winning percentage of any class. But more than the wins, we will miss your incredible leadership, work ethic, grit, selflessness, and championship mindset that is an example to all.
Our season came to an end last night in the regional final to a tough @LUSOFTBALL1 team. As always, our young ladies made Viking Country proud by their grit and championship mindset by battling the entire game. Thank you for an amazing season ladies.
