We’re excited to see $2.5M head to MD universities to enhance the #MentalHealth workforce for our schools. Supporting MD’s BH workforce was a key goal of the 2023 #EqualTreatmentMD platform. These funds are a well-needed support while the SB283/HB418 needs assessment is underway.

The Biden administration will distribute more than $2.5 million to four Maryland universities to train and hire new mental health service personnel in an effort to combat a "mental health crisis in our schools." marylandmatters.org/2023/05/16/md-…
