The MDC continues to partner with our community with a new construction lay down area located directly across from our North Hartford Community Outreach Office on Barbour Street in Hartford.
MDC offices will be closed Monday, November 11 for the Veteran’s Day Holiday. If you have a water or sewer emergency, call the MDC Command Center at (860) 278-7850 and press 1.
MDC is proud to announce being recognized as part of the #AgeWellAcrossCT campaign for the wheelchair accessible fishing pier at Lake McDonough. Sponsored by @ctagewellcoll, the campaign recognizes places and programs that demonstrate age, dementia, and disability inclusivity.
The MDC's two water treatment plants are a vital part of a process that delivers an average of over 45 million gallons of water a day. Although each plant uses a different method of treatment, the result is the same: clean, safe drinking water for our customers.
The bridge over the MDC's Nepaug Dam in New Hartford will be closed for recreation Wed. Nov 6 for an inspection. The road on each side of the dam will remain open.This is to protect the safety and security of everyone. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
