The MDC's two water treatment plants are a vital part of a process that delivers an average of over 45 million gallons of water a day. Although each plant uses a different method of treatment, the result is the same: clean, safe drinking water for our customers.

The bridge over the MDC's Nepaug Dam in New Hartford will be closed for recreation Wed. Nov 6 for an inspection. The road on each side of the dam will remain open.This is to protect the safety and security of everyone. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
