Alex was a brother to all of us and one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet – one who represented all the values of being a UCLA Bruin and a member of the program. And beyond all that, an amazing individual. We will miss you – rest in peace, dear friend.
Our basketball program mourns the loss of student manager Alex Moriarty, who has passed away after fighting brain cancer. Alex embodied so many of the character traits that our men’s basketball program stands for – friendship, loyalty, industriousness and enthusiasm.
