I am so tired. Tired of fighting for basic justice & fairness in a so-called developed first world nation. Never thought a govt of such a nation could cause such immense harm to their innocent citizens. It has been a shock & eye-opener for someone from the so called third world.

"Housing ministers have now promised 19 times to protect leaseholders from historical remediation costs, yet we know of thousands of people receiving invoices for astronomical costs," says Labour's Mike Amesbury He says some are facing bills of £85,000 bbc.in/314GPij

Over half a million £s in VAT being charged to #leaseholders to fix a building that they don't own & didn't build 🤯 It's unbelievable how unfair and unjust the #BuildingSafetyCrisis is When will @mhclg finally #EndOurCladdingScandal? It's been promised time & time again...

Such a shame... #EndOurCladdingScandal

We're incredibly disappointed with the outcome of today's debate. Tonight, millions of leaseholders will go to sleep in their unsafe homes, feeling abandoned by their government. We're taking stock and will be back for the fight tomorrow. #EndOurCladdingScandal

Remember as @RobertJenrick describes £3.5bn to fix risks caused by developers on high rises as unprecedented, in November he announced £20bn to the same developers. What makes you think they've learned? #EndOurCladdingScandal #YouBrokeItYouFixIt #NoLeaseholderLeftBehind

Today I announced the biggest ever investment in building safety, with the Government paying for the removal of all unsafe cladding on high-rise residential buildings. (1/3)

Have to agree... this seems to be the most openly corrupted government! @RobertJenrick

@guardian @GdnPolitics @guardianopinion how much ££ in "donations" got @RobertJenrick from developers? It looks like his political mission is to not make them accountable for #BuildingSafetyCrisisUK ..

unfortunately.. need to agree - @RobertJenrick there is still a long way to go, this isn't the solution! #EndOurCladdingScandal

Jenrick lied about facts about true extent of now worthless flammable death traps in Britain. He also insulted taxpayers by implying anyone buying a hone in Britain is not a taxpayer. #DontBuyBritishHomes

My bill has arrived today! Normally £414 per quarter. This quarter £5109!!! And for next 3 quarters too! How is this affordable? Do I tell Adriatic Land @ChrisPincher said LH shouldn’t pay?! @RobertJenrick @BorisJohnson @BH_CAG #EndOurCladdingScandal @DailyMailUK @thesundaytimes

Where’s the rest of the £££ coming from?!? Our pockets. To be absolutely clear, no scenario will make the misery this is inflicting on leaseholders ‘fair’, certainly not such a small fraction of a contribution over 10 years from developers @RobertJenrick dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9…

well said @SteveMcfirerisk

Long term loan = 2nd mortgage = EWS1 = zero valuation = zero insurance = defective crisis response = inept @govuk Product recall - product recall - product recall - product recall!

In case you missed it 🕘 | The hidden housing scandal Hundreds of thousands of flat owners could be forced to take on 30-year loans akin to a second mortgage to fix fire safety defects similar to those that caused the Grenfell fire. (1)
