I'm not a luddite and I'm not calling for restrictions on the use or training of AI. We don't need useless commissions that will “regulate” AI with a smart look but no understanding of the matter. AI is needed to launch missiles into space, not at the enemies of democracy. #AI
The problem with AI is that it is in the wrong hands. If we ask it to solve a military conflict, we will get specific solutions to escalate the conflict. It will not be able to answer that this step is unreasonable or inexpedient, it will just give solutions to destroy the enemy.
People want the benefits of AI, but throw a tantrum when they find out it will learn from them. They post their shitty lives on instagram but are afraid their post will be used to train a model. Postmodern... @elonmusk you can train a model on my posts, I'm fine with that.
They tell us to sell. They're making us trade it for their money. While we're doing that, they're buying for next to nothing so they can put us back in the rat race.
