Fun Fact Friday- Here’s how our school district is funded - 68% from the state– $18.4M - 17% local property taxes– $4.5M - 13% federal funds– $3.7M - 2% other– $656K Property taxes play an important role, but state funding remains the largest source for our schools.

Fun Fact Friday- School districts rely on both state & federal funding to operate. State funds cover most operational costs, but fed funding supports specific programs like special education & low-income student services. Balancing these funds is key to meeting student needs.


Fun Fact Friday- Tx Public Schools are funded primarily through local property taxes! 60% of school districts revenue comes from local sources while state/fed funding accounts for about 40%. Local communities have a big role in supporting their schools.


Fun Fact Friday- Our 23-24 instructional rounds have welcomed 150 visiting educators from Texas and across the US, observing 560 classrooms and conducting 7 rounds. Proud to share our commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Fun Fact Friday -ADA plays a crucial role in public school finance by determining funding levels based on student attendance. Seeing those numbers go up is great news for the district, as it translates to increased resources & support for students' education! Way to go, Pirates🏴‍☠️


Fun Fact Friday -Our students are using AutoCad software to design their tiny house. This hands-on experience will provide them with an understanding of various construction work.This experience will undoubtedly prepare them well for future endeavors in the construction industry.
