Thread of my threads:

Why do you get scared when you're holding a winning trade? Will seeing 10 seconds of heavy volume on the tape invalidate the larger timeframe thesis? Learn to ignore the noise in between and stop micromanaging.

May start posting again on here a bit

Why would you play a shorter timeframe reversal against a larger timeframe trend? Where is your edge? Focus on timeframe alignment

The majority of stuff taught on FinTwit.

What is something you thought was true when you first started trading that you now know was total nonsense?

100% facts.

The “wait for a 5 min candle close” idea is something I wish new traders wouldn’t adapt (I did as well). It makes no sense. If your invalidation level is broken with volume get out of that trade. There is absolutely no reason to wait for a candle to close

Don't quit your job to pursue trading. I say this all the time. yes SOME did that & it worked out fine, but that's just survivorship bias because I can also show u 1000 more who did the same thing & failed. trading under pressure to pay bills is one of the worst things u can do

Conclusion, you should base all of your trades off facts or probabilities. Specific & objective Patterns that repeat over and over again. Fundamental or Technical Patterns that u can backtest. Algos rule the market & how much "iNtUiTiOn" do they use? #BearTipOfTheDay

Can’t even find my words typing this, baha. Knowing people still view my page and find value in it is such a fulfilling feeling for me in that I provided something useful to even a single person on here. I hope you’ve all been well! Wishing everyone continued success :) Much love
