More information on North Central Conference expansion. If all 3 schools vote yes to the NCC, the conference will split into the Tradition Division and the Pride Division. If voted yes, Forest City, GHV and Eagle Grove would join for the 2026-27 school year. #iahsbkb #kqradio

‘My Bad’ will get you beat. Everyone makes mistakes. In fact, that’s how we learn. But it’s not about what we say - it’s about what we teach, learn, emphasize and change. If it’s in fact ‘your bad’, make the changes necessary to turn regrets into rewards.

Play catch with purpose. Every game of catch is an opportunity to improve. There’s no reason to play a lazy game of catch with nonchalant intent and mechanics. If you want better efficiency, velocity and consistency, take catch seriously.

As a coach you have to be able to have standards your program keeps, regardless of the outcome “I would rather lose than watch kids play the way some kids play.” In the end the right things works far more often than the wrong things

Reminder: Your job as a Coach is to get the program to it's ceiling. The ceiling is different at each place. This can be a very difficult concept for parents, players, and administration to understand. Work to get your program to it's individual ceiling, then keep pushing.
