Intelligence without hard work gets you nowhere and thus isn't particularly interesting. Hard work without intelligence is more effective, but ultimately extremely boring. Hard work *and* intelligence is where the leverage lies, but it's a fairly rare combination.
💯 Love this post on “info finance”. Prediction markets are an early special case of info finance - the use of markets to create distillations of more expensive mechanisms (eg predictions of voting outcomes). Multiple generalizations. At scale a possible revenue stream for AIs.

Totally agree.
We're pretty good at solving hard problems while sleeping or while doing something else. But for that effect to kick in, you need to have spent a while banging your head at the problem first. It's only payback for prior effort.
