So is it bad timing or good timing that Ultimates #6 came out today and discusses how people who are afraid of change will desperately turn to the systems of comfort, even though they are evil in nature?
Folks, reading Ultimates #6 and Absolute Superman #1 on today of all days is one hell of an emotional time. Two excellent but deeply poignant stories with a lot to say.
People can viscerally feel that our economic and political system is broken. If Democrats keep refusing to label and fight the REAL enemy (the billionaire class), then Republicans will keep spreading the lie that immigrants and trans people are the enemy. And the lie will work.
