xmake is the best c++ build tool i've ever used and cmake the worst and no one can convince me otherwise. It's near instantaneous. Maybe PS scripts are better, but i dont like oops in shell

I dont even know how people survive without debuggers especially in languages like c, c++. I dont know the number of times only a single breakpoint and F10 saved hours of my time. maybe debuggers for web languages are just bad idk

The secret behind my productivity is that I'm almost exclusively a print-statement debugger
