Huge thanks to Laura Lawrence from the BBC World Service for the private tour of new Broadcasting House this afternoon. History and modernity, hand in hand. Fascinating!

I will say much more when I am able to write in complete sentences, but, for now, Macbeth was gut punching, visceral, and quite possibly the best thing I have ever seen in a theatre. Astonishing work.

Van Gogh - Poets & Lovers, National Gallery. Joyous, revelatory, and deeply emotional. I didn’t expect to be in tears in the middle of the National Gallery, but there I was.

Dr. Strangelove Wow. The show retains the film's surrealist absurdity with inventive staging, a stellar ensemble cast, and impeccable comic timing. The set design is inspired, the script pin sharp & Steve Coogan wholly outshines Sellars! Iannucci, Foley & Coogan are geniuses.

Yes, I am on Denmark Street, but if my husband is reading this, of course I’m my not considering buying *another* guitar…<ahem!>

An absolute barn burner of a show from Bellowhead at the London Palladium tonight! I’ve had the ticket for a year, but it was worth the wait. Three thousand people bouncing around like fools and singing at the top of their lungs. Glorious!

The first John O’Farrell episode was one of my all-time favorites, and his return visit does not disappoint! He is as warm, funny, and irreverent as ever. Do give it a listen!

My wonderful guest @mrjohnofarrell returns to @MyTCpod to choose five new things from his life to put in a time capsule. Celebrate the release of his new novel, Family Politics, here's a brand new episode with one of the most entertaining men I know. Here pod.fo/e/283933

It was a true ‘Cavalcade of Stars’ at The Prince of Wales Theatre tonight, watching the crème de a crème of British theatre celebrating the life & work of the great Noel Coward. We’ll not see their like again. What a privilege to have been there.
