I'm rather looking forward to this. It will be nice to see Mikey again, along with more of Zatanna's stage crew. Madame Xanadu and Blue Devil's inclusions are also rather interesting to me.

Chameleon is a funny little character. He's my favourite Spider-Man villain. I really liked what was happening with him in the 90s after Kraven's Last Hunt.
The I, Vampire segments in House of Mystery #305 and #306 are weird. There is this odd time travel plot connected to Jack the Ripper for some reason. Andrew interacts with his wife for a bit, and that's good. I don't understand why it was part of a time travel thing though.
I've been reading and enjoying the I, Vampire segments of House of Mystery. The way DeMatteis takes the idea of the sad good vampire, and merges it with this guy who laments over his ex-wife every issue, is fun. That's a simple way of describing Bennett though. He's pretty cool.
I haven't read much with these characters in them, but I like their existence. In DC's world of big heroes and villains, you have people like Roy Raymond, Slam Bradley and Captain Compass to contrast that. I just think they're neat.

To keep vaguely more active, I might just keep posting about random characters I like and why I like them. That would be fun.
I've already said that I quite like Roulette, but not why. Proprietor of a superhuman fighting ring is a fun niche, and I find her connection to the Mister Terrifics really interesting. I just wish they expanded more on it. It would give some more bits to both Sloane and Holt.
Something related to Hank's Ant-Man probably.

I've realised a trend with some characters I quite like. A story sets-up a cool premise for later only for said premise to not be done justice or not be done at all.
I find this rather entertaining and unexpected.
Mikey Dowling and Dr. Jana Bodie are fun supporting characters that were introduced in Dini’s Zatanna run. Mikey is cool as a consistent member of Zatanna’s stage crew. Dr Bodie interests me especially as she’s a cosmic therapist in another dimension. It’s a fun niche to have.
Calculator's costume was fun. While I do find his current "Oracle for criminals" niche better, the battle suit was cool. Collecting data on superhero battle tactics was an interesting gimmick for a villain and his old helmet being able to create virtually anything was also cool.
Charlotte Blackwood only appeared in the last two issues of Matt Wagner's Madame Xanadu series. I think it would've been cool if something was done with her afterwards. Xanadu having an apprentice could be fun.
