I’m always tempted to switch to the latest ☕️ machine or get pod variants but between my trusty french press or Bilaetti it’s hard to convert. Also, so much more fun new discovering local roasters. This dark roast from Port Edward is best for Mondays.👌🏾 beavercreek.co.za

In my glass this evening 🍷 Taking instruction from @JamesSuckling “drink now!” Fruity nose with redcurrants, sour cherries, dried herbs & some dried thyme. Medium bodied with sleek tannins & fresh acidity. Juicy & elegant with a velvety texture & bright fruit forward finish.

The fact that I confuse palette and palate as often as I do, is just further proof one should take everything I say about wine with a grain of yeast. Drink what you like!

Dutch courage for elections tomorrow. Bought both the 22&23 on a great special @CheckersSA the new 2023 labelling in captivating. The wine: incredibly expressive and lingering. Good palate weight for a SB yet clean, crisp finish. A “serious” wine, not a gluttonous libation.

Anyone (I personally know) there's always way too much food, ample wine/booze, the couch is comfy and it's always a safe space.
