Adventure calls! We're weeks away from launching the biggest game I've ever worked on. It's been a heck of a ride, and this video does a great job of showing what it actually is we've been building. Excited to see it out there! youtube.com/watch?v=vujiFT…

Incredibly sad to hear this. Thanks for all the memories.

I hope I won't be remembered as The Salt Guy But if it blows up then: check out my games: Zniw Adventure and Zid Journey. Story-driven, science based, you play as a dinosaur. Unique. I'm an artist who draws on the Nintendo DS/3DS/Switch for fun. Also an oddball and proud of it.

Balatro, 30h? to all decks unlocked The familiar concept of poker, extended with deck building and rouge-like mechanics. It works perfectly together. I tried to be done with this game many times, but it kept coming back as it’s such a nice, comforting game loop.

Helldivers 2, 8h Me and my kids have been shooting bugs and robots in the evenings, learning the finer nuances of managed democracy. Helldivers 2 is such an amazing success story – and I know the hard work it took to get there. Huge congrats to @pilestedt and the whole team!

Palworld, 10h Feels like anytime someone went “Can we add this?” they did it: Survival, Base building, Co-op, Tower defense, Breeding, Open-world, Automation. It's more than Pokemon with Guns. It's weird and a mess - but it kind of works. The first hours actually felt magical.

Taiji, 10h to good ending “The Witness in 2D". There. That says it all. It’s great. Similarly clever puzzles, perhaps with fewer aha moments. So, when is Thekla’s next game coming out?

Chants of Sennaar, 10h to credits Probably the year’s best puzzle game that is all about figuring out languages. It’s incredibly rewarding to figure out things glyph by glyph, to learn what everyone is saying. Tedious stealth segments mixed in, but probably needed for variation.

Humankind, 8h I think I’ve played every Civ game and Humankind is a very nice take on the genre. Very pretty to look at and nice take on all the systems. But this genre has too much depth for me, so I prefer more simplistic strategy games (Civ 3 & Civ Rev were peak Civ for me!)

Against the Storm, 32h, 2 seals broken I really like this fantasy City Builder. The rouge-like elements make each 1-2h settlement just different enough. The permanent upgrades for winning is also just enough to make you start the next settlement right away. Time sink for sure!
