Excited to join @WhiteheadInst community! I’m grateful to @manoliskellis and @MITEECS for my graduate training and supporting my journey here. My lab will study the complexity of cell-cell communication and explore its broader implications across various biological scales.

Whitehead Institute appoints Na Sun as the inaugural AI Fellow within the Whitehead Fellows Program. In this role, Na will develop computational methods to decipher complex cell-cell communication in the brain. Welcome, Na! wi.mit.edu/news/computati…

This is HUGE for HIV prevention! An injection of #Lenacapavir given just twice a year demonstrated 100% efficacy for HIV prevention. An independent data monitoring committee recommended the company stop the blinded-phase trial and offer the drug to all participants.

Researchers in the trenches of the fight against HIV got a rare piece of exciting news this week: Results from a large clinical trial in Africa showed that a twice-yearly injection of a new antiviral drug gave young women total protection from the virus. nyti.ms/4csgIka

I am heartbroken that another cyclist was killed by a truck in Cambridge this morning. My thoughts go out to their loved ones. It’s another tragic reminder that we cannot go backward on bike safety; we must continue doing more at every level of government. cambridgeday.com/2024/06/21/sec…
