Excellent messaging from #thamesvalleypolice on the use of e-scooters. Privately owned e-scooters are a danger to both their owners and other road users when ridden in public spaces and even the rental ones should not be used by children and young people without a license.
🚫🛴 Do NOT buy an e-scooter as a Christmas present 🎁 ❌ They are illegal on any public highway, pavement or in a public space ❌ You cannot get insurance to ride these on the road 👮♀️ Expect the police to be educating people about the law and seizing e-scooters.

This is wonderful news and something we have been campaigning on for a long time as a charity. Antenatal information for all women around risk of OASI is crucial. Better information = improved consent. And prevention is key! We want to see a reduction of OASI injuries in the UK.

Today, the AJC publishes a report on Improving Local Authority Decision-making in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. It found that over 90% of appeals to the SEND tribunal were in the appellants favour, resulting in a positive outcome for parents or young people. 1/4
