Very happy to share our new preprint “Methylation of histone H3 lysine 36 is a barrier for therapeutic interventions of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma”. H3K36M, NSD3, PRC2 and genome instability aficionados should read it! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
You can absolutely love your research work, be great at it, and NOT work nights or weekends. Taking care of your mental wellness is crucial for being productive over a long period.
Immunotherapy in action! Well,.....not exactly. But, yesterday I was able to watch the casting of an immunotherapy-in-action sculpture: a T-Cell attacking a cancer cell. The upcoming sculpture will honor extraordinary researchers @JimAllisonPhD and @MaxKrummel Stay tuned!
Very happy to see our paper about the role of CoREST in endocrine resistance and breast cancer cell plasticity out @NatureSMB Work spearheaded by my amazing PhD student Liliana @Liliana24863226 Thanks to all collaborators! 🧵(1/8) nature.com/articles/s4159…
When you take away everything from the people, you take away their fear. Mi corazón esta contigo Cuba, siempre. #SoSCuba

Just out @NatureComms! In this Perspective, we discuss how the epigenome is a key determinant in hormone therapy response in breast cancer and why epigenetic factors are promising targets for overcoming clinical resistance. nature.com/articles/s4146…
