Invoking the emergencies act, gave the federal government two main benefits. 1. To show the people of Canada, who has the power and 2. Who has the control. I truly belive this has back fired in the Liberals face, it has seriously rocked their party foundation.
“Federal assistance” does not equal invoking the Emergencies Act!
