It was incredibly interesting to attend the celebration of Confucius’s 2575th birthday in Quzhou this morning. Quzhou was the place where the southern branch of the Kong clan settled after their move in the early 13th century.

Beat the summer heat by immersing yourself in the cool mountain forests.⛰️ Discover this Western Wei Dynasty (535-556) #Dunhuang mural, where a fawn pauses by a clear pond, drinking and observing the reflections of the mountains in the rippling water.🦌💧 #DunhuangSummerCooling

Humbled to be named as the inaugural holder of this chair. My long-term goal is to cultivate a robust Buddhist Studies community at NUS that will elevate Singapore as a hub for bridging Eastern and Western scholarship on Buddhism. Grateful to @Buddhistdoor for sharing this🙏

こんな日が来るなんて思いもよらず、感無量でした😭 dha.ac.cn/info/1019/5637…
