I think easy to rubbish off ideas like this but FE is in a unique position where it doesn't have a feeder series. If the only one that existed was exclusive to women, that would place them at a developmental advantage. Would make them a bit more appealing for an FE team to sign

Plus if you compare her times with the guys 1st test session then her time is respectable. Really unfair to compare to the final test times
this is crazy. abbi is a literally junior driver who’s racing in f4 level and mitch is a veteran driver who’s been in formula e for eight years AND he had four test sessions spent in the car while those girls had one session. i hate these people so fucking much.

I wonder what age really is the limit for F1. Alonso and Hamilton still seem to be going strong and still easily top guys. The speed drop off doesn't seem to be big for them despite their age.

I mean yeah, if you're making a decision purely for marketing Mick makes plenty sense. But they didn't make a decision on that, they were also looking at experience and speed. Which Hulk clears Mick on. Marketability of Hulk only comes into it when compared to Bottas.

Honestly, every series that's a proper professional category should just offer the same as F2 SL should just say your good and your going to be good if you're a top driver in a series like SF, WEC, Indycar, FE etc
