Today I’ve seen 2 different people lamenting the lack of interest in their 40th and 50th high school reunions. I think reunions are a victim of social media. We know what’s happening in the lives of those we care about thanks to Facebook etc. No need to attend a special event.
If you get one of those Visa/Mastercard debit cards as a gift and you don't want to reload it...once you get down to a few dollars go to a site like @DonorsChoose and donate the balance. You'll make a teacher happy and you won't have the wallet clutter of a card with $5.07 on it
“Success isn’t that difficult; it merely involves taking twenty steps in a singular direction. Most people take one step in twenty directions.’” — @AnthonyJYeung medium.com/the-ascent/how…
I just recalled that time I restarted a conversation with a "ghost" by mailing him a letter in a pizza box. Ever done anything a little "wacky" to get someone back on track?
Don't buy the thing that promises you $5-$10,000 per month doing something you've never done. Buy the thing that promises to show you how to make $100. Not as exciting but a necessary step for most.
You've heard of employer matching your 401K contributions, why not do something similar with your monthly expenses. When you pay $7.99 for Disney +, invest $7.99 in Disney Stock! Do the same for any monthly expense that has a stock. I opened my Robinhood account last night.
Things I wish I knew earlier... Nothing. I KNEW all the smart things to do. Things I wish I did earlier and consistently? Everything. Start over today if you have to.
It's easier to make an extra $100 than it is to save a $100. And more fun! How would you make $100 extra this week?

“Pain, discomfort, shock, boredom, impostor syndrome, awkwardness, fear, being wrong, failing, ignorance, looking stupid:Your avoidance of these feelings is stopping you from a life greater than your wildest imagination. These are the feelings that accompany a life of success.” - Ben Hardy
I guess I never realized, when I was younger, that many of the laughs on "America's Funniest Home Videos", now AFV, come from people falling. Not as funny now that it hurts when I fall. 😬
This is the time of year I remind all celebrities to STAY ALIVE! Most of the year end tributes to those who have died are done and you don't want to be left out. 😃

Years of watching Antiques Roadshow and never once has anyone yelled "I'll take it!" or "Sold!" when told the appraisal price. I wonder why?
Garage Sale Weekend: The only time you can drive slowly down a village street in an unmarked, windowless van and not be labeled suspicious!
