Universes Beyond is fucking cool. All the rage-baiting videos on YouTube and people complaining that “Magic needs to be high fantasy” need to either embrace this, or just give up the game. Bloomburrow was cool. Duskmourn was cool. Magic is still fucking cool.
For the first time, I saw tons of new players talking about their first con experience and it was nice to hear their joy over the game. Only bummer was hearing folks who felt guilty for starting the game through a UB/SL set/drop. We need to change that narrative as a community

If you still feel like WotC will destroy commander after hearing Gavin and Aaron, get over it. Commander will be fine. The bracket system *as a baseline* will be a nice thing to have. #MTGWeekly
