We are grateful to CT journalist @lucybladen for covering our story to help us advocate for improvements to the mental health system for our young people. We are recommending full wrap around support for young adults following suicide attempts. bit.ly/3TPCTHE

“Parents caught in the middle caring for adolescents with mental illness” We are pleased ACT Minister for Mental Health Emma Davidson acknowledges there is more to do “to improve access to the right services, at the right time” for young people. PAGE 6 bit.ly/3shNWxT

Our recommendations to support young people following a suicide attempt: A dedicated case worker for the young person, and a peer support worker for the family who, together, would ensure the young person receives integrated treatment and support. bit.ly/3zQ1Rja

Our son passed away last year after struggling to get proper mental health treatment. We are recommending integrated & connected support for young adults who have attempted suicide, and their families. See here bit.ly/3bngFMN

This tragic story told by @garyhumphries of a Canberra family's struggle to get their son proper mental health treatment should never happen. Govts need to take responsibility for ensuring coordinated and effective mental health responses for young people. bit.ly/3uqrzGr

Catch me on @TheTodayShow at 8.25am this morning discussing @Domaincomau Rent Report and what it means for tenants. Can tenants ask for a rent discount? And how often can landlords hike rents. Tune in!
