GNU is a bad idea. Will be a government of Get Nothing Done. There are major divergences on many substantive issues: economy, energy, land, fpolicy. Perhaps ANC knows this, but wants to bind opposition parties to itself so they can't gain momentum critiquing from outside.
Still trying to justify the flag. . . I don't understand what incentive is for ANC to choose both EFF and MK as partners. That would dilute seats/power it can give to its own members. My wild guess is ANC goes with EFF and hopes MK does a COPE
