On the passing of former Senator Murray Sinclair we honour a life spent in service to uncovering truths, Indigenous rights, and changing the course of reconciliation in Canada. He inspired us to work for a more just society for all. His impact will be felt for generations.

We are devastated to learn of the loss of our beloved leader and Elder, Mizana Giizhik, His Honour, Murray Sinclair. His tireless work to advance the rights of Indigenous Peoples and ensure the legacy of residential school Survivors will never be forgotten.
