I have seen A LOT of base stealers thrown out on balls that bounce. I have yet to see anyone thrown out on a ball that goes into CF. While this may seem obvious to many, a lot of young Cs who are transitioning to a bigger field are embarrassed to bounce the ball. It’s OK!
There is no better AB than the battle AB. He wasn’t trying to just put the ball in play. He was competing his ass off to win every pitch. With 2K, simply earning another pitch is winning a pitch. TWO-STRIKE HITTING IS AS MUCH A MINDSET AS IT IS A SKILL.
