Back to reality: This morning, the Nebraska Dept of Education & Gov. Jim Pillen announced a $6 million grant to expand the state’s teacher apprenticeship program. The program was in its pilot stage until now & was implemented to help the teacher shortage. Story to come!

Initiative 434, which would put NE's current 12-week ban in the constitution, has officially tipped over 50% approval, with 50.4%. Initiative 439, which would guarantee access til fetal viability, is at 53.9%. At the 439 watch party they're saying it's still too close to tell.

First votes out of Nebraska are in. This only includes mail-in ballots and early in-person voting: CD1: 63.4 Harris - 35.5 Trump (18% in) CD2: 61.9 Harris - 37 Trump (42% in) CD3: 66.5 Trump - 33.3 Harris (9% in) % in is based on AP estimates
