.@ATT is a multi-BILLION dollar company. They can absolutely afford to treat their workers with the dignity they deserve. AT&T must come to the table and negotiate a fair contract.

1,000 battery workers in Tennessee just won their union. Workers are organizing the South, organizing EVs, and organizing for power with the UAW.

Battery workers are seizing their power! Today, 1,000 workers at Ultium Cells in Spring Hill, TN, voted to join the UAW. They are the second Ultium plant built in the US and the second to go union. The first was Lordstown, OH, in 2022.

We say enough is enough. It is time for progressive institutions like the @ACLUofIL to stop attempting to create anti-worker precedent in the law, and to start living up to their values.

Meanwhile, the NLRB found mgmt of @ACLUofIL violated labor law, and engaged in unfair labor practices by denying us raises. Still mgmt refuses to admit wrongdoing. They have vowed to spend more money and time appealing, rather than just paying their workers what they’re owed.

📢Labor day news:📢 ACLU-IL Staff United will be striking starting at 8am tomorrow, in protest of @ACLUofIL management’s refusal to accept the NLRB’s settlement agreement. We are outraged at their refusal to pay us the wages the federal government agrees we are owed.
