I think about this 2 weeks after every holiday... I got flu and Covid booster in November when the new one was available. I can report I am still suffering from allergies to molds, pollen, but still No Magneto powers, death from blood clots, or set off store Anti theft devices.
The cashiers at WalMart CAN afford groceries because most qualify for SNAP. They'll *Never* get enough hours to lose it. And WalMart will never fire anyone in January so they qualify for unemployment; they'll just cut them to 4 hours a week. That's what Corporation Welfare does.
Yes, the cashier at Walmart should be able to afford rent and groceries with their paycheck. Yes, the person with cancer and $3 in their bank account should be able to treat their cancer without going into debt.
