Repost from our partners @ProjectCoyote! —————————————— We invite you to watch this clip from our upcoming video, “Ecosystem Allies: Large Carnivores and How They Benefit Us All.” —————————————— Take action to #RelistWolves at RelistWolves.org today!

Please contact @GovKathyHochul and ask her to sign the bill to ban wildlife killing contests in New York. governor.ny.gov/content/govern…

Wildlife killing contests are brutal events in the US promoting mass slaughter of animals like coyotes, foxes, and even wolves for prizes. Disguised as "management" or "hunting," they harm ecosystems, disrespect ethics, and use cruel tactics. Learn more: ProjectCoyote.org

Did you know that wolves across the world speak in 21 different dialects, with differences depending both on species + location? 🐺 A study of howling in the ‘canid’ family has shown that various species + subspecies have distinguishing repertoires of howling.

Humans are barbaric.

We went undercover at penned dog hunts in Ontario, where hunters caged terrified coyotes and used them as live bait for dogs. It's sickening that a few bloodthirsty hunters managed to convince the provincial gov to expand this cruelty! toronto.ctvnews.ca/terrorized-to-…

Did you know that all dogs come from wolves? But since their premature removal from the Endangered Species List, our wolves are in danger! As partners of @RelistWolves, we are howling together with @rwritextinction & @wawawiwacomics to raise awareness to #RelistWolves!

BAN wildlife killing contest nationally. These animals they kill for fun, same mental state as serial murderer, are needed for ecological balance and biodiversity. Each and every one is essential for thriving wild lands which we need to save further environmental decline.

The NA Model of Conservation, the bible of hunters and trappers, prohibits 'wanton waste'. Yet these same people kill for fun in contests where dead animals are tossed in dumpsters. Since hunters can't monitor themselves, laws must be passed and enforced to prevent this behavior.

3/3 We've asked Vermont Fish & Wildlife to help advertise this law through social media, but they've done little to nothing to educate hunters and trappers. Read more about the wanton waste law here: tinyurl.com/2etxamsp #vtpoli

Wildlife knows nothing of our artificial political boundaries. It is time we think about wildlife 'management' in ecosystem and bioregional terms. In the case of wolves we must think in terms of North and Central America. Thinking at the US level is a start.

We the wildlife want what is justly ours: Free to run in public land without being hunted, trapped, poisoned, or rounded up with helicopter. We do not need or want to be managed by human but, we will manage the wilderness ecosystem for you. See➡️youtube.com/watch?v=ysa5OB…
