After 3 years, + 2300 hours of placement experience… Today has been the last day as a Student Nurse on placement🥹 It has been a very bumpy ride and there are still bits that need to be completed prior to registration but… this really is a massive achievement😭🥺 Thank you❤️
A student nurse's weekend musings: When treating a patient, put yourself in their shoes. Imagine living with their condition, and think about how that may impact your mood & behaviour. This prevents judgment or defensiveness, and improves patient outcomes. Empathy is key.
