Comment on my post yesterday - let the permafrost thaw, who cares? 1) Permafrost stores ~3x the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. 2) Located in regions warming 3-4x faster than anywhere else. 3) Experiencing more 🔥 4) Thaw leads to more C emissions, more as CH4 in the future
