I remember when we hired Brohm I talked about the annual "Jeff Brohm game" (a big win) vs the annual Jeff Brohm debacle (losing a game he has no business losing). It's happened for years going back to Purdue. Last year ND/Pitt. This year Clemson/Stanford. It's a thing.
Jeff Brohm has absolutely no concept of time management in close games. That and preparing teams for far inferior conference games have always been issues with him going back to Purdue. He has to figure this stuff out.
