1/4 #WSTC8 #ForSesh2 Seabirds face threats while #Foraging. Intrinsic and extrinsic factors may shape #ForagingStrategies and drive niche divergences. We studied the Bulwer’s #Petrels differences in foraging strategies among colonies, breeding stages, and sexes.

🚨Today the African Penguin has been uplisted to Critically Endangered by the IUCN, just one short step away from extinction in the wild. It’s simple, the longer we wait the more we lose. 🐧 Uplist report: tinyurl.com/3yfaabu9 Petition: tinyurl.com/2pdf32ke

🚨 🌡️August will be the warmest month ever recorded in Longyearbyen (Svalbard) at 78°N in the Arctic, reaching an average temperature of 11°C (+-0.1°C). This surpasses even July's records by a large margin, while July is historically the warmest month. Uncharted territory.
