Kosovo is probably the only real democracy in Western Balkans. Second round of local elections over. In all the races losers within minutes congratulated winners and promised support. Counting is not disputed by anyone. Winners won by focusing of local issues and challenges.
I congratulate Ferit Idrizi for winning the elections and for winning the mandate as mayor of Vushtrri. Wishing him luck and health, I thank the current mayor @xhafertahiri, for his service in the last term. Congratulations to both parties, for fair and democratic elections.
Today people in the UK paused to remember all those who have died in conflict. On this day of remembrance I paid my respects at the Memorial in Krusha e Madhe. We should not forget the loss and sacrifice of so many. #LestWeForget #ArmisticeDay
Today, I climbed the top of Oshlak. The not very difficult road, which leads to this peak, gives you a magical view at every step. Especially, when you reach the point 2212m and you can see the Albanian Alps, Lybeten and Kabashi Peak and many other fascinating mountains.

In February VV won in all Albanian municipalities in national elections. Tonight exit polls tell a story of a complete change. In most municipalities opposition either won or is leading. In capital city, after 2 consecutive VV wins, opposition has a chance to win second round.
