I’m working on book 3 for Sweet Shoppe and realized that I needed to sketch a concept idea for Boomer’s friend named, Jake. He’s an orange tabby and a fellow fisherman, but as I started writing, I wasn’t able to see the character clearly. I had an idea, but seeing him helps more.

I wanted to do a little practice with drawing and painting the eyes of a spirit. Aoi is a water spirt and I wanted to make her eyes a little unnatural. I wanted them to look gem-like, like a mythical water stone. All elemental spirits would. I need to practice a bit more.

I was watching something and had the urge to draw Jeanette Miller, the chipette from Alvin and the Chipmunks, as the princess that she is. I really adore her. I want to draw her together with Simon, someday. ❤️ …although, I would use his most recent design to draw him.

One thing I wanted to do in the Sweet Shoppe universe is show that the girls change their outfits and hair from time to time. Tange is the one to show that off. She's at a ball fully decked out and has caught the eye of an admirer. Has he the courage to ask her to join him?
I wanted to try to redraw a picture of Sailor Jupiter in a different style. This was just for fun and this is what I came up with. I may try again, sticking closer to the anime look next time.
