🆕 #Alberstsons is sued for allegedly stealing trade secrets from #Replenium. The dispute concerns an auto-replenishment system for retailers. Replenium states that Albertsons used the 🤝 partnership with them to build almost identical software that aimed to replace Replenium’s.


Based on #DriveResearch, online #grocery delivery and grocery pickups are ramping up. When compared to 2022, this year grocery delivery increased by 9% (from 16% to 25%), and grocery pickups by 6% (from 6% to 12%).


A new survey shows, that only 17% of grocery shoppers are knowingly using AI to help them with their 🛍️ shopping. The early adopters are using it for comparing prices, creating shopping lists, or planning their meals and buying groceries accordingly.

#Aldi and Grocery Outlet Bargain Market are killing it again 🔥 While the YoY grocery segment traffic grew 7.9%, Aldi decided to more than triple this increase. Based on #Placer data, the YoY increase in foot traffic of Aldi grew by 26.3% and the Grocery Outlet grew by 14.3%.
