Ensuring that a team competing in one of their events is properly equipped, is the sort of thing a multi-billion dollar world governing body should be funding. Instead, they firehose the majority of their revenues, without oversight, into the accounts of the wealthiest boards.
Even beyond the inequitable distribution of funds, it would be immediately & enormously helpful if any of the ICC's social media, with their vast reach among cricket fans, promoted the GoFundMe. But retweet will never be hit, and the link will never be shared. Can't lose face.
