The Ressies lost 4-0 in the Senior Cup against Broad Plain yesterday. An even contest in most parts, but the home side took their chances in the 2nd half. Man of the match was young midfielder Reef Ackland.

Although we suffered a defeat yesterday, we still need to recognise the lads for their efforts. Ed Stowell was MOM, winning countless headers and tackles, and leading by example when it comes to grit and determination.

The Ressies suffered a first defeat in October, against Stockwood Green yesterday. Conceding two poor goals in the 1st half, we gave ourselves too much to do. A couple of chances to score came and went for us. 2nd half we competed but the third goal put the game out of reach.

The Ressies had to settle for a point yesterday, drawing 1-1 with Clutton. It was an even game with both teams having chances to win it late on. Ed Stowell got the equaliser with 17 minutes remaining, rising to score a header after a training ground set piece routine 👀
