When I say Uganda is booking the wrong Jamaicans, this is what I mean. Burning Spear in South Africa. Look at that! What a legend! Probably the greatest reggae artiste alive and still active. He will be performing in Nairobi next week.

OTD 17 years ago, music lost one of its best from Africa, Lucky Dube. The mbaqanga and later reggae star was shot dead in what was allegedly a carjacking. The musician who had been to Uganda a record 5 times, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000 and 2003, is to this day celebrated.
