Today I discovered Neon. An amazing option for a serverless database. Here are some good things about it: • insanely fast and reliable • multiple locations around the globe, • free plan to test it or run a small startup • so easy to create multiple branches of your db
Using Astro for a couple of hours with Tailwind; the most buggy experience possible.
The best entrepreneurs are the ones who can learn faster than other new abilities even when there's nothing related to their prior knowledge. Those are the ones from which we have to learn more.
I couldn't agree more.
Working in tech, you will likely meet people who are arrogant and act like they know everything. But the most brilliant people I've seen weren't always trying to show how smart they are. They were always trying to learn from other people.
The art of being proactive.
Same ppl who endlessly DM for advice. Use Google. Figure it out. We all did and still do every day. Don't be lazy. Life is passing you by while you could be shipping. Sorry for ruthless
As a junior self-taught developer, everything can get a bit overwhelming sometimes. Just please don't give up.
Learning about @passportjs and JWT is so much fun. @nestframework is so enjoyable to use. Although despite its advantages it can get a little overcomplicated or verbose sometimes, something that is pretty usual in high OOP-based frameworks like this one.
I've been working on myself a lot lately. Someday the world is going to hear me. I'm looking forward to being as much help as my hands and mind are capable of.
I like the concept of a good social network where typing or posting your thoughts can be something really enjoyable to do daily. Something like a self-diary where not only you can read the paragraphs. It also helps people like me that can't usually find people alike to babble.
Some thoughts about learning an OOP complete language for the sake of learning OOP concepts deeply instead of just going to the new classic path for newcomers to learning Js or Py. I've been working as a Js developer for a while now. Besides that, I've been learning Elixir. 👇
This is actually insane.
Advice to recruiters: hire young and enthusiastic developers as soon as possible. Then, you're going to want to hire them but they aren't going to want to work with your clients. #100DaysOfCode
I've so many dreams that I almost can't keep them inside me. As consequence, my soul hurts sometimes. I'll execute, not complain, nonetheless. I have to do this to be the man that I want to be. Do you wanna chat about your dreams?
Hey, #langtwt 🌅 -I'm Spanish native speaker💃 -Learning English, Japanese and Portuguese 🥰 I want to spend time talking to Portuguese people are there any of you or maybe a friend that you can tag?👉🏻👈🏻 Help to reach Portuguese native speakers🙏🏻😊
#langtwt My first conversation with a Portuguese speaker. I had some beginners mistakes, but I learn from them. How was your day?
Is it normal to want to learn Portuguese after star learning @elixirlang? #langtwt #elixir
I know that learns Elixir and Phoenix is going to take a while and a lot of effort. However, I know is worth it, so, that doesn't matter that much to me. I quit my last job as a frontend developer to dedicate all of my time to learn Elixir and its escosystem. #ElixirStatus
Elixir provides features that are mind-blowing to actually use. One of my favourites is function arity, you can have hello/1 hello/2 hello/3 Each of them with different body functions. Furthermore it analyze which of them is called without any boilerplate. #Elixir
What a good book. I'm just in Chapter 1 but the content is amazing, well explained and clever. @sean_moriarity and @pragprog what an unbelievable work you did!
